The IGA would like to announce that, after a brief downtime for upgrades, the Gaelcon website is back up and running! Thanks for your patience while we were down, but you'll find it's worth it - we are now the first convention in the Republic of Ireland to have it's ENTIRE catalogue of events and items for sale on pre-book! Every single event, timetable and blurb is up on our new site, and you can now pre-book your entire weekend ahead of time; from the ticket you want, down to the games you want to play.

I think pre-booking of slots is a mistake. People are just going to book anything and everything they want, then not show up. It'll mean people are missing at your table and the GMs and the like are going to be pissed off.

Plus I hope retained tickets for people to buy on the day. I know myself I don't decide what to buy until I actually get there and see what the buzz around the games are. But then even that was messed up for the past two years with tickets being sold for every slot at 9am instead of one hour before hand like most people had been told and planned for.
