04 Micra NATS reset?

    Hi Guys, anyone know how to reset the NATS immobiliser on a 04 micra other than reprogramming the key?
    battery went down and when it was re-charged the NATS had kicked in and now wont start:mad:

    Should be just a case off ignition on and off and in a certain way which I'm sure ul find plenty of info on the net about if not it's a trip to someone with the Nissan anti teft system even then it's a pain to do I've used this system befour and it's a pain

    Have tried all hints but no joy, off to the Mean diddlers I think :-(

    The battery discharging or being replaced shouldn't cause the problem you have but try inserting the key and switching the ignition on for 5 seconds, then switch it off, wait another 5 seconds and switch it on again, repeat this a few times and it should start.

    If not then there is a fault with the system or some other issue.

    thanks, will try it again and see, is there anyway of bypassing the NATS ?

    No there is no way of bypassing it any ways y would u want to that's the reason people wont try rob ur car as the no they need the key also

    yes but if all micras have them they wouldnt suspect mine of not :D
    Got it going last week, went fine then left it for a couple of days and again, NATS !!!:mad:
