Well I'm not from Kilkenny, I'm from Naas, Kildare, but I'm going to the same course and I'm pretty much in the same boat in not knowing anyone else on the course.
Name's Sean, but most just call me Morro. Firstly, Im an xbox gamer (I presume this will be an important personality trait in our course haha) and I work in Tesco as Tesco Tech Support. I'm 18 and I will be commuting every day to the IT

I'll be doing that course, from Goresbridge myself. :)
Name's Mark, I'll be the one with the really curly hair.

Gaming on a Xbox has nothing to do with it.

Be prepared to write loads of code and hope you enjoy applied physics/maths.

    That's the course my friend.

I'm saying it purely because chances are all people attending this course will play one of the 3 big formats (not counting Wii) and it'd be something to know about people.

I like the coding bit :)
Applied physics and maths though I'm unnerved about.

Im doing Software Development and it isn't easy to get into. I can only imagine what games development is like. We're lucky in the aspect of not having to do Physics and Applied Maths.

Sounds like your trying to scare us off ha, anyway this isn't a thread about the course itself. Its about the people attending said course

Nope, fair play for doing it. As long as you have an interest in Computers you will be grand.
