UPC..crap pic quality and freezing..

    We have UPC, has anybody noticed a degradation in picture quality and/or freezing on the sky sports channels. The image seems to be blockier, lower bit rate and more noise.

    give them a call and explain the problem and ask them can they boost the signal for you as the signal from them is low and is blocky. this could sort the problem out. worth a shot because when I was with chorus many years ago and the tech was alot older they boosted my signal and it was grand there-after.

    one other thing, if you live in a flat complex make sure no one has messed with the coax cable illegally trying to connect as this will definitely mess up any direct signal.
