Studio LIghts

The Snipe

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a good set of studio lights for as cheap as possible (I was thinking of those cheap eBay ones but decided against it)

Preferably a set of flash - if you had a good deal on a backdrop too I'd be interested, but I can borrow the background for what I need it for atm!

So any help would be amazing!

That new(ish) place down on William St., where Spectra used to be, have Elinchromes? I think I saw an Interfit logo in the window too, so they may have those too?

I was looking at them all right (€699 second hand for 2 lights) So I'm keeping my options open if anyone knows where I can get some online etc.

Jessops (unfortunately not in the Republic anymore) have some decent offers. They're still up in the North (I usually go to Belfast, but I think they're in Newry too)

I have a set of Interfits EXD 200s with umbrellas and I also have stands and a couple of backgrounds if your interested.. Interfits I bought new about 9 months ago and they include carry bag.. email me at pmc.1@me.com for further details.

I got a set of new lastolite studio lights in there for 420 euro with a trigger. They set it up for me upstairs and showed me a couple of basic set ups, they work great judging from those photos . The Elinchrom D4 were a bit too expensive for me at this stage at 700 for the new ones, and the 2nd hand ones in there were 130 per light but they had no trigger.I heard Elinchrom were better but I'm happy out with my ones. I'm starting college next week and hope to use them alot. I only got my first DSLR a few weeks ago so I've alot to learn
