    what are the payment options for on campus accomodation? like monthly rent or weekly or what . thanks

    Nope, you pay in installments.

    See here: http://www.ucd.ie/residences/studentpages/fees/

    Press Fees for 2011/2012, or alternatively log into SIS, go to Student Services -> UCD Residences and view your licence to reside - it tells you what is due, when it is due!

    On the page I linked above, press Methods of Payments to see how you can pay - the easiest is by credit card online, or laser card.
