    Hello,

I've a question about an interview I'm having tomorrow.

I know there's a good chance I'll be asked about situation in a previous job and I'm nearly 100% sure, since I've been interested in getting a job we've been in a recession and though I've tried a CV with little to no experience is ignored for someone with a degree and experience in the relevant area.

Anyway enough of the whinging instead I've found work, or used stuff I've learnt in college to keep myself busy and make a bit of money too, But usually these are programming/designing and I don't have much contact with others. Bar one or two cases.

If I'm asked if I'm a team worker or a loan worker, what do I say, I've enjoyed team work, but the stuff I've only done is through college. Do employers want to hear about that?

If I'm asked If I'm a leader or not, do I go on to explain how I've done team-leading stuff in college or do the above rules apply?

Basically, I can answer all these questions but not in work place type situations, If you were an employer would you care about these situations with a college background where my colleagues would be fellow students or should I just say 'Sorry I've not been in that situation before but I think I would be...'

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Put your example to show how you were a team worker, the context (work or somewhere else) matters less then the example. I've had people give me horrible examples from work experience and vice versa.

My example would be where me and 3 of my colleagues decided to design and develop an iPhone application after our summer exams in college(over a week) though not successful we learnt a lot and went on to make our own, I'd explain the roles I played which would show I'm a bit more of a leader.

Obviously I'd make it a bit nicer than that but hopefully you get the idea?

College, sport, charity work, anything you did in the context of a team. Incidentally, you lead the team, dealt with conflict, delegated work, motivated others, and met your targets/got an A+, etc.
