Hi, I am wondering if I can retrieve a post that was made on facebook, it was made on another computer by another member but I replied to it and viewed the full thread/post but this post has now been deleted and I am wondering if I can retrieve it on my browsing history or any other possible way. It contained a couple of details I would like to get back. I am using Windows 7 and use google chrome as my browser. any tips would be greatly appreciated!:)

Very unlikely unfortunately, your best bet is to setting chrome to offline mode and see if it is retrieveable, most posts on facebook are updated dynamically so the content is rarely stored the same way as a physical page would be

Thanks Nick for that, was hoping there was a cached copy or something floating around, so annoying if I knew it would be deleted I would have done a screen shot of it.

Thats a slim chance as I think Facebook don't allow Google crawl people profile and cache the info, your only option is having a cached file locally, which is more than likely overwritten by now anyway
