    Am based in sth dublin, builder hit off dish and sent me back to the dark ages :mad: have order sat finder from ebay but that probably wont arrive till next week, and would like to get this sorted asap,
    please pm me you costs to realign and how soon you can do it,

    After putting in some rabbit ears I am stuck with RTE1 and wait for it.... miss brown boys, devine Lord can it get any worse than this???? time to Kill the TV

    This worked for me:

    1. align roughly (look at other dishes orientation, use http://www.dishpointer.com/ also and align using landmarks)

    2. set TV on to pre-tuned channel, turn volume up, set up home phones on speaker call: one by TV, bring other out to dishwith you. Move dish until you hear it tune in. :)

    We got a Xoro receiver from http://www.tvtrade.ie
    Am impressed with them, good to order online from and great help notes and videos on their website for tuning and dish alignment.

    $100 = €72.47 you have phoned sky on premium rate tel no. bought a crap bleeper from ebay, and now asking for someone to do job for you,.........!!!!

    @MrSneeg What a truly unhelpful couple of posts .

    @OP Realigning the dish, especially if it hasn't been moved much, is not difficult.
    Some good advice here. Google will give you many more.
