    Hey all,
Just tried to pick my modules for second arts and when I got to the 5th step, 'programme registration', I get this message:

"This option has been closed by the University at this stage.
Please contact us with any queries.
    Thank You."

    Anybody else getting this?

Is the ability to actually register open? The college may not have it open.

    What's the registry date? Today?

Well a friend of mine was able to choose her modules already so I'm presuming so? Then again, that's for a different course entirely... she said she got the error message initally but then it worked the next day... does the same message pop up for you?

    Ah 'kay, thanks guys! :)

Any of you have a clue what modules you're doing? If any of you are doing English, here is the modules/reading lists:

What was the course? Our year were granted early registration for our course cos we're back already -2nd arts isn't till 9th Sept. A lot of courses in Law and Medicine and Health have their registration open already

    Different faculty to Arts perhaps?

I'm not in 2nd year. Give it a few days and check intermittently.

I'm sure you can get away with it for the first few weeks anyway. A lot of the time you see people going to a few different lectures to get a feeling for the module before they make their chouices, so I wouldn't be feeling too rushed about it.

AFAIK, you don't actually have to register till the end of October, after that your student card becomes invalid and you won't have access to blackboard or the library. Make sure when you do register, that you are registered for all your modules, one or two in my year weren't registered for their modules and couldn't access the stuff on blackboard
