    Hi Guys,

    sorry if a wrong forum, not sure where to post this. question came up when I was going through comparisons on hia.ie, Aviva seems to be very cheeky with their benefits stating as example (business plan plus):

    Hi-Tech other than Cardiac and Special
    45 % cover of Semi-Private
    35 % cover of Private

    so the question is - does anybody know from experience what the daily rate for private/semi-private room is in:
    Beacon/Mater/Blackrock?
    (average, dont need exact)

    I heard private rooms in public hospitals are €1000+/night, so that gives me an idea already, but would be good to know the same for private/high-tech hospitals in order to better assess how much it could cost you if you have luck (or not) to be with Aviva?
