Unable to use Meteor Broadband allowance

    Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you have experienced a similar issue and if so whether you are willing to share your experiences to compile a file and take it further.

According to Meteor Customer Care, you will not be able to use your traffic allowance if it drops below a threshold. This means that even the pass you purchased has not expired and if you still have a traffic allowance however low, Meteor will not allow to use that allowance and force you into topping up, losing that remaining allowance.

In practice, this means you are buying a service, as the 30-day pass and 7,5Gb, but Meteor decides how much of it you will effectively be able to use. That is,you will never get in full what you paid for.

In my case, I had three days left, 30Mb of allowance left and suddenly got cutoff halfway through sending an email, never to be able to connect again. According to Meteor Customer Care, 32Mb is not enough to load a web page. Meteor Customer Care did not offer to solve the situation (offered a day pass, but in principle did not solve the issue), failed to honour callbacks, and systematically denied trasferring calls to the supervisory team.

Anyone care to share your experiences.
