Like many, I'm a first year student left with no on-campus accommodation, and many stakes through my heart deposited there upon learning that all of DCU's off-campus accommodation is also full. Is there anyone around who'd like to look into filling a house? Have been looking around daft.ie but I really don't want to live with 'professionals' in their mid to late 20s..:p

Hey! I was in the same position as you yesterday, I was so disappointed I didnt get on campus, I just thought all first years would get a place! Anyways I tried so many off campus accommodation and most were full, I never thought of having a back up plan :p but last night I got a place in gateway student village, if you havent tried there, you should. Hopefully you'll find somewhere soon :) best of luck!!

exact same as above except i got into hazelwood!!! its a bit of a commute (15mins walk) but i'd take that over as you said a bunch of stuck up proffesionals. Wouldn't mind a few first year people around because i've no idea of the number of freshers in hazelwood!!!

Managed to grab a room in Shanowen Halls, was owned by someone other than the establishment... Can definitely recommend the College Search function on daft.ie though!
