Why was Wolfe Tone banned?

Overnight Wolfe Tone, one of the more passionate and principled posters on Boards.ie, was site banned. I'm looking at his message history and can't find a reason for it, nor can I find where he is appealing this. Anybody know any more about this? Thanks.
