Anyone else think this is a ridicoulus price? Okami is HUGE at 185 and has great takedowns and great submission grappling.

Sure Silva could just kick him in the face but at 4/1 I'll definately be getting big money on Okami.

I agree with you that it's a huge price and Sliva must lose at some stage but I can't see him losing on Saturday.

I backed Sonnen to beat Silva at 7/2 and looking at Sonnen's odds compared to Okami odds then it's not value. They'll probably fight the same fight but Sonnen is a better wrestler and faster.

Silva will want to avenge his "loss" to Okami and also Silva will want to but on a fight since it's in Brazil so I think it'll be an easy knock out for Sliva.

Also think Shogun will walk through Forest. So if you back the two lads to win it comes to 1.72/1 which isn't bad value

You do make a good argument. Although I think the pressure of being in Rio might actually hurt Silva more than it helps him. Also Okami is pretty much unsubmittable in comparison to Sonnen.

The only outcomes I see are A.Silva by KO or Okami by Decision. The price of each means I'll be going with Okami.

I disagree with the pressure, if you look at some of Silva's fight he was just board ****less and didn't want to be fighting the twat infront of him. But with the home crowd pressure I feel we could see the best Silva ever..1st or 2nd round knock for me anyway.

But I would like to see Okami winning because it would freshing things up.

Just put 5 units on Tavares/Schaub combo at evens.

Talked to my go to guy regarding MMA (journalist who does annoouncing on polish Eurosport) and he put this 2 fights as "I don't see an upsets" category. He also told he can see Okami (his style can fit well against Anderson), Griffin (Rua has a tendency to not be perfectly prepared for fights recently and Griffin is a workhorse) and Dan Miller winning, despite all of them being huge underdogs. But not sure how I will approach it yet.

schaub/barboza would be my two bankers at slightly under evens
palhares not too far behind them imo
can't for the life of me see dan miller beating palhares anywhere although
    he may lose on points
think okamis usual style will mean curtains for him unless he changes
    something
as for shogun, there's plenty of risks attached there...he's not one
i'd be taking short odds on against someone who'll be ready to go
    all out for 15mins

Whats the thoughts on Rafael Assuncao v Johnny Eduardo? Thinking of adding him to Schuab and Tarvares just over 2/1

Who won this fight on saturday?

Sliva hammered him...played with him for a round and then knocked him to the ground twice in the second round with a jab and then decided to finish it. I can post up a link if you wish to watch it.

Shogun also walked through Forest. Forest heart isn't in fighting anymore, it's just a job for him now. schaub also got knocked out, I did think he was abit short but I never saw him been knocked out ha.
