this is what I've got, was thinking of upgrading as I'm do photo editing and my pc is sssoooo slow. any idea's, don't need hdd's

The case sounds like an OEM Dell case(is this machine a prebuilt, OP?), which would limit his options somewhat.

Aye some Optiplex are too narrow for adding cards, motherboards etc.

thanks, yes i have a small form dell, great for saving space, crap for installing cards.
graphics and sound all integrated.
so, new case, and psu, sound card not too important.graphics card not a gaming machine or hd, but upgradable
any ideas on internet wired or wireless. don't have the fastest connection

Hardwareversand only take bank transfers so your wallet may not be much good!
You may want to consider a HDD upgrade if your current HDDs are old. People often underestimate the speed changes here.

If you move your Windows 7 to the new system, make sure that you install the 64-bit version to avail of all your RAM.
