Not sure about a bus from Navan to Cavan institute directly, but there are several buses from Navan to Cavan. Off the top of my head there's the 109A, which comes from the airport. There's also a number 30 bus.

I'm sure there's another one or two. Check out the Bus Eireann website

Bus Éireann Route 109 is the service.

There is a Route 109 which starts at Navan (Mercy Convent) at 0735 during college terms and arrives Cavan Bus Station 0840.

If going later, a change of bus is needed at Kells.

Several buses used to extend beyond Cavan Bus Station to the Institute but the new 109 timetable from late May doesn't show this (but there is every likelihood that buses will continue to operate to the Institute - it's just not mentioned in the timetable).

The Institute is about a ten minute walk from the bus station.

Return buses from Cavan (Bus Stn.) are every hour on the hour till 1900 plus a 2200 journey.
Returning at 5pm it will be necessary to change at Kells for Navan. However the 6pm and 7pm ex Cavan run through Navan (no change needed).

Student 10 journey tickets are good value and 10% can be saved if purchased online (5% from end of month so, if possible, would be worth buying tickets for say the first two/three weeks).

The Expressway route 30 no longer links Navan and Cavan, apart from one journey in early hours and one late-evening journey.
