    Folks

Had the sensation about a week now. This morning alarm goes off took the phone of charge all ok, 20mins later and its dead and wont even turn on ! Had to take the battery out and put it back in again.

Been asking my buddy, Google, he has friends who have similar problems. The phone can overheat if left on charge ? One guys solution was to charge it using USB not the socket.
I found when I had the HTC desire it did take allot longer to charge over USB port, so this sounds like it could work.

I got the phone from meteor. Should I bring it back ? Anyone else have the same problem ?

Mine does get really hot at times but general consensus on Google is that this is normal.

I downloaded Battery Indicator from the market and it's a handy app as it tells you the current temperature of your battery.

As for your phone over heating to the extent of turning off I would say that it's a different issue and it might be worthwhile to bring it back.

Where abouts do you put the phone when you're charging it? is it near any heat sources or anywhere near a PC etc? Make sure your charger is connect properly and try to use a different charger if at all possible.
