Will be arriving at beauvais airport getting the shuttle to Porte Maillot. From the research I have gathered I can get a train from here to Disney with little hassle as there on the same line. My question is would anyone know the name of the ticket type i would need for this journey in french so I could just ask straight out for it and the estimate cost(single ticket) of said ticket? Any insight would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Violet!

Do check www.beauvais-airport.com. The site is in English and will provide you with valuable info. You can travel, by coach, from Beauvais to Eurodisney without having to go through Paris.

As for asking for a ticket in French, you can use the following sentence:
    Bonjour: Hello
    je voudrais: I would like
    un billet: a ticket
    aller simple: one-way
    aller retour: return
    pour un/deux adulte(s): for 1/2 adult(s)
    et un/deux enfant(s): and 1/2 child(ren)
    pour Eurodisney: to Eurodisney
    s'il vous plait: please.

    Hope this helps.

Bon voyage et bon sejour en France

    C.

Another thing to note is, I don't think Beauvais station is actually at the airport, it may be a short taxi ride away (or a long walk). I haven't done the journey, but getting to Disneyland seems easiest with the VEA shuttle.

    Welcome to Boards.ie Violet :)

Unless I'm out-of-date with the train lines, this is incorrect. In order to get to Disney by train you need to grab a taxi at Beauvais, take the train to Paris (Gare de Nord - 1 hour) and then change to the metro to take you to the RER A line which takes you to Eurodisney (45mins). There is no direct train line.

The least hassle way is to get a shuttle bus (1h30mins) to take you to Disney.

Claregirl5 thanks that's great, il string something together on paper before I go so I'm prepared as I have absolutely no French and if the person has no English it could get messy.Ye I've looked at some companies but it seems to work out around 30 euro each way and take the best part of 3 hrs.As there's only the 2 of us a private bus/taxi would be way too pricey.

**Timbuk2** you must of just missed the piece at the start were I said I would be getting the shuttle bus into the edge of Paris, no worries. As you pointed out I've looked at getting the train from beauvais st can't remember way I ruled it out now might look at that option again. Ye I've seen this site takes 2.40 hrs though couldnt sit for that long would rather the change of environment the train would offer and it's 30 euro each way too pricey for my budget holiday, thanks for the suggestion though.

Poster. The ones I had came across were going to be taking up to 2.30 hrs a bit too long!do u have a link for this shuttle you've mentioned? Il have a look at the train lines again so.
Thanks,ye long time reader so said it was about time I got stuck in.

Sorry, I was trying to speed-read it and missed the important bit :o

Enjoy the holiday, I've been to Eurodisney twice and it's great!

Clare's link has all the info for shuttle companies :

    http://www.beauvais-airport.com/Disneyland-Paris/

A train is in my opinion a very complicated way to get to Eurodisney.
