Anyone know where I can get Windows XP?

    I stupidly bought windows 7 and my computer is too old to run it. Anyone know where I could get a cheap copy of XP. I'm in Cork if thats any help.

    If your pc had xp on it originally then the product code is most likely stuck on the case some where, so all you may need is a disk.

    Microsoft don't manufacture it any more so in short you can't. As suggested above if you have a license code attached to the machine for XP you can borrow a XP CD or failing that ask Microsoft/The computer company (Dell, HP, Sony etc.) to ship one out to you. There will probably be a large enough "processing + shipping fee" if you choose this option.
    How does Windows 7 not work on it? If you give us a rundown of the system specs we may be able to help you find Windows 7 drivers. I have managed to get even old Nvidia FX 5xxx series cards working fine on 7 before.
    A point to note is you will find many license codes for XP for sale on ebay. I do not reccomend you buy any of these as many are probably being resold illegally and Microsoft have the power to deactivate them/blacklist them at any time. They will also expire if the seller fails to renew thjeir MSDN subscription or cancels it
