I played it a couple of times while I was in the market to join a GC. The best holes are when you cross under they railway bridge. I think it starts with 13 on that side. Don't go for 15 with the driver. Couple of nice water features guarding greens. Greens were good with a couple on the small side. If you can control your tee shots you can score well.
The course couldn't deal with the rain we had a couple of summers ago.

I played it a few years ago and drainage was a problem then but I think they've done some work on that since. (The passage under the train tracks was flooded at the time.) It's a nice enough course though and as Ben1977 said, if you're careful off the tee, you can score. It's not long either. There's a short par 5(8th I think) and it looks really inviting to go for but there's pond just in front of the green so beware!(I wasn't.) Nice finishing hole too - large undulating green well protected by water.

Played there saturday, course was in decent knick, greens were good fast at times.. Couple of nice holes, good scoring is very possible.
Never played it before this year and some of it was soft under foot on some holes you'd know it was beside a bog, wasnt wet but ya'd know it was in parts reclaimed bog, but all in all decent place nice club house too and staff were friendly, we got good deal on saturday 27e golf and dinner..

PLayed it a good few times now, its always fairly wet, which is a massive problem when the weather is bad as the greens stay rock hard in the winter, so if your short you plug, if you land on the green it goes over the back. Dont like it much and wouldnt go back to play it if i had free green fees. Although that was before they built the club house and changed some of the holes

Nice course and nice atmosphere there too. They often have open competitions there at weekends too, I've played in a good few.
