Help with interview clothes

I've used a career/employment coach for help with my CV (she's a friend's mum) and she gave me some general interview advice as well. Always err on the side of caution in terms of conservative clothes! That dress would look gorgeous with bright shoes and accessories, but for an interview I think black would be the safest option. Black shoes, black jacket/blazer and minimal jewellery.

Minimal makeup and no perfume is best as well, in case the interview is allergic to perfume or has a mortal enemy who wears the same scent! I laughed when I heard that last one but I suppose it does make sense :o

    Good luck with the interview!

I agree, lovely dress. I'd go for black tights and shoes, and definately a smart blazer over it. Fingers crossed :)

hey, ive worked in salons for years now and the best thing i can tell you is do not dress too formal, i dont mean to go in all relaxed and all but i think your better off to make a statement you know? like with a high fashion black dress, dont show any arms legs, bellys hips, or cleavage.
make sure your hair is done really well, down and straightened is not enough after all if you get the job it will be you who greets all the clients and so you will be the first impression of the salon
    good luck!
