Moved to the Long Term Illness forum where you may be able to get a better response. Mods, apologies if this is the wrong place; was the most appropriate forum I could think of.

There is some info here on the Irish Cancer Society website. You can also talk in confidence to a nurse on the Society's FREEFONE helpline 1800 200 700

The ColoRectal forum on Cancer Forums is an excellent place to get information from others who are experiencing Colorectal Cancer.

In my own case, I found the Prostate Cancer forum very, very helpful.

Hope these help. The Freefone number above is worth a call.....or maybe ARC House, or one of the other support groups. If you (or someone close to you?) are dealing with this, it does help to talk to someone about it.

    Best of luck.
