    Hi all,

Just a quick heads up for anyone who might be affected by this. I checked my email earlier and found two emails waiting for me which essentially said:
    Dear XXX,

Your Apple ID, YYY, was just used to download Pocket Legends (3D MMO) from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.

If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. This email was sent as a safeguard designed to protect you against unauthorised activity.

If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go to iforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Tips for protecting the security of your account for further assistance.

    Regards,
    Apple

So I had a look and sure enough my balance had gone from €17 approx. to €1-ish because of them downloading that app for free and then doing an in-app purchase for €15.99.

I have changed my password and contacted Apple who haven't responded yet.

But the odd thing is I only got my iPhone back this morning from Apple (well, I got a replacement for my phone that developed problems with the home button). I have only ever used three devices for my ID, my laptop (which was connected to my iPhone) and the desktop at home which was off at the time. I have scanned my computer and there is no malware. I'm pretty stumped by it all.

Thankfully I don't have credit card details registered with them and it was just the outstanding balance of a gift card.

    Anyone had this befoe?
