With winter fast approaching and lot of water already on road i need to get pair of overshoes, what are the best brand of overshoes and would be talking about budget of up to 50 euros .Also how does one determine the size to get in relation to shoe being worn underneath?

I posted on this a while back. Seems to be the best idea is to get a set of full set of mud guards and throw some mud flaps on. Should keep water from spraying up on shoes. If there's heavy downpour I ordered a pair of these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=45051 reveiws say they're very warm so might be worth ordering a thinner pair.

I like my Pro Tarmac Neoprene ones. They got a fair bit of abuse last winter (and even a few outings this summer) and there's no obvious wear on them. I should get this winter out of them at the least. They are waterproof (with the usual caveats about three hours solid rainfall and standing water coming up through the cleat holes) and toasty warm. They are handy enough to get on and off too. The sizes show the corresponding range of shoe sizes so go with the one that applies to you.
