Carzone.ie worth a punt?

Trying to sell a car for the last few weeks and have used most of the car advert websites (donedeal, carsireland, cbg, buyandsell) but found most replies were willing to make rediculous offers without seeing the car! Is carzone likely to attract more interest from serious punters or is it a waste of money? I can post the ad link if it helps feedback or mods allow?

I put a car (low value) up on carzone a couple of years back and didn't get a single responce. I put the same car up on donedeal and I had it sold in a few days.

I would say if you're selling a high value car carzone would be a good bet, otherwise donedeal.

Thanks Pajo. It's a low value (under 3k) car. I have a listed price ono in donedeal. Question is do I change the pricing and not allow entertain bargaining OR leave it be and bump the ad?

I wouldn't bother putting a €3k car on Carzone. Done Deal is your man for that sort of car.

If it was a €20k car though it would be a different story.

Curious as to why relisting an ad is better than bumping an ad in Donedeal?

because then you'll have more ads up and itll be more noticed.. I did this with a boat I sold and it worked grand.

A grand AD and the price seems ok. I'd chance Carzone tbh.... See how you do.

There are 2 pics of your car from the front that look like they were taken at night. The flash is reflecting off the lights and plate. If you can, take better pics for these two photos.

It looks like you are trying to hide some bad paintwork or conceal something.

It maybe the fact that the pics were taken in the evening time of it was just cloudy and dark outside but try to get the pick as bright as possible.

    The other pics look fine.
The price looks OK but be prepared for haggling - you can get other '03 Fiestas for less (according to done deal), which is where I compared the ad's.
    Best of luck.

Edit: the price looks ok too, I was looking at a 3 door:

Priced too high and the spec is crap.

Thanks MugMugs & Cadaliac. I must take those pics again 'cos it was evening time but definitely not try to conceal anything.
Question for shblob- besides missing sunroof and alloys is the spec of this car any different to other similar fiesta's out there? I am aware that remote central locking and immobilisers are n't standard spec and are included.

no fog lights, uncolour coded bumpers, no alloys, no sunroof.. you should be asking around 2500 tbh.

Ah but it does have colour coded bumpers (same black metalic) and I dont know if i have seen any same models with front fog lights (correct me if I am wrong). The alarm & immboliser will bring down insurance.
