    Hi all

I just got new tyres for my 06 Saab 9-3 sport wagon and the guy saw that one of the alloys is cracked a little. It is not letting air out yet and He said he could send it away to get welded for €50 but im thinking about getting a second hand alloy from a breakers or the like and use the cracked alloy for my spear and get rid of that stupid space saver wheel.

I here of some place in the north that sells second hand alloys with a tyre for cheep. Does anyone know of any of these places or even if a new one is at the right price id buy one but where???

    Thanks for feedback..

    Pat

Check which model your car is (linear sport?) Go on to partfinder.ie and find a scrapper with the same spec. There's probably one local enough to you with a good wheel.

Ya cheers for that but they are hard to come by at a scrap yard. I have come across different type of alloys for a saab but not mine.
Also they dont like selling just one alloy they would like you to buy all 4.

    thanks

Re: the skinny spare, make sure that the boot well is deep enough to take a full size spare. The last thing you want is the boot floor carpet resting loosely on the wider wheel an inch or so above the boot floor panel
