its a fix, winner was 8/15 in pp before it even started.U can b sure the judges had a few quid on and gave the heads up to their mates , its more of a joke now than ever.If u want to know the result before it starts just pop into pp and u wont have to sit thru the whole con job!

Agree totally. This is not a betting contest anymore unless you bet on the odds on favourite. Then theres the risk they dont win

personally if u went by wot u saw on stage the winner wud not be in top 10 imo,all the top brass involved in festival had their cash on imo

Doesnt inspire much confidence if you are a rose looking at the betting.

i know people who have been involved over the years and there are always a few who are in the know early, usually on the final morning the escorts used have a massive bet and were only wrong once in ten years.

I'd say the max bet on a market like this would be around 50 euro. It's a novelty market. You'll never get rich off it.

The important thing to note is that what you see on TV is a tiny part of the competition, the judging takes place over the a large number of days and over a number of different activities.

The TV appearance hardly counts anymore. I suppose its easier on the girls too.

The odds on favs don't always win it, look at last years.

Last year there was a short priced fav all day but she didn't win. But the winner was backed in on Betfair about a minute before it was announced. (Should have been suspended really as was with all other bookies!)
