My Aunt has UPC and subtitles keep appearing on her TV, I thought I had them turned off by going to teletext, but they came back again next day, how do I clear them for good

Using her UPC remote, access the settings menu, look for Preference Settings, then change the Subtitle Language to Off.

Depending on what box she has this may or may not be different to mine, but either way you need to find Subtitle Language & change it to Off.

Slightly different on the STB2/3s if in Munster - you need to change the Main Subtitle heading from English to none - then press ok and then the exit button on the Chorus/Sagem remote....
