Replacing Old Outdoor Alarm Box?

    Hi All,

I'm back after getting some great friendly advice previously on replacing the battery on an Aritech alarm system.

I am looking to replace an old'ish outdoor alarm box (not sure if I have the terminology correct here?!!).

I see the newer boxes are a lot more visible - LED lighting?

My question is where would I get such a box? How much could I expect to pay for one? And finally how easy is it to replace the box? What way are they wired?

    Thank You :)

These are the bells we use as standard.
    Delta Bell Plus

Soft back lit & very visible strobe & LEDs.
Have a look at the Suppliers Stickey for a source near you.

Easy enough to install as long as your not afraid of heights or drilling walls.
Just make a note of the existing wiring as you disconnect the old bell & be careful not to short any wires.

PS Ill close the 2nd thread you started.;)

The blank ones don't look great, equally poorly thought out designs don't look great either

You see a bell box, you only hear the bell.

The bell has to look professional in order to deter

Having an alarm is only a deterrent.
