my parents split up a while ago, If i was to say i am living with my step dad rent free for the past year and a half how would that affect his benifits (he's a carer) such as fuel allowance, esb units, etc.

I'm not entitled to a grant as my mum earns just over the 56k but there are three of us in full time education and she has only recently gotten this job after returning to education so there is no real family savings. To top it all off i have a baby on the way, which they wont take into account, so really can't afford to return to college without the grant.

I could also say i live with my g/f and her mom but would that even be allowed cause she lives in a council house?

im locking this thread as clearly your looking for a way to circumvent the grants authority and tell them what ever information will get you the grant.
