Couldnt really tell the diff from the "fairways" to the rough, rough was absolutely full of cut grass

Was thinking about halfway ronud the course to be honest, its only a tenner midweek so said fackit, still though ive played a few courses with midweek deals from 10-20 and never been anywhere near that bad

I really think that courses should wise up and realise that their value and offering also go hand in hand with their reputation. Paying any money for a sub-standard offering does not equal value.

Yep deffo, i wouldnt go back and play even if it was free to be honest, just not an enjoyable experience at the end of the day.
Woodlands in kildare is only a tenner midweek before 10.30 am and its well looked after, lovely course

If some courses don't improve their offering, the whole package and not just price, they will then go to the wall deservedly. That's just the the way the cookie crumbles.

Yea do, its lovely place for 15e cant go wrong, some nice holes and lovely greens, played it yesterday the were quick enough, not as quick as dunmurray today, lightening some of them were.. There is not much better value about than it, Portarlington Dunmurray 25e Killenard 35 all around me but for 15, to easy. Lock it in dude, let us know what ya think.

Played here just after it opened worst course I have ever played - big distances between greens and tees with no signs to tell you where to go - looks like it hasn't improved.
