Windows 7 IE redirecting webpages?

    Hi there. Does anybody know why my browser always says 'redirecting' whenever I log into my online accounts? It's the same for my Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo and now started when I log into here too. I've never noticed this before and am just wondering where it's 'redirecting' to and why. Thanks

    Sounds like regular ol' traffic bouncing between authentication servers and whatnot.

    Thanks Overheal. Seems like the obvious answer for sure though I'm running broadband speeds of 3.6mb which is a little contrary to that perhaps!?

    3.6 miligrammes ?

    3.6 sounds like you are on a 3G connection.

    Unfotunatley 3G is midband, not broadband

    use speedtest.net to see what you are really getting as that 3.6 may be contended by everyone else connected to the same mobile phone cell ( and it gets worse since someone connecting in at 1Mbs will get a similar slice of time as you but will trying to take 3.6 as often to download the same data. )

    And no, I'm with Smart and the line's pretty much contention free
