Recording onto Sky+ from 'other channels

Is it possible to record channels listed on the ''other channels'' section of Sky onto Sky+ . UTV is one of my other channels and I can't seem to be able to record it as i can with the channels listed in the normal listing....

As far as I know it cannot be done, disaster for Rugby World Cup!!

You can't record onto Sky+ but you can record onto external recorder by tuning to the channel and link your Sky+ box to an external recoder (eg. DVD/Video) via scart and record manually onto external recorder or even set timer on external recorder to record from Sky box. Bit of a pain as you can't change channel during recording but possible. Must say if I was living in ROI during RWC as a rugby fanatic I would invest in a Freesat PVR and so be able to to use full facilities of PVR to record ITV1/4 coverage.
