I have a job offer for low money. I am waiting 2 weeks to hear about another job. Should I take this job & leave it I get the other one I really want? Or should I come clean & maybe end up with no job.?

Take it. If a better job comes along, hand in notice. Simples?

Got contract today. 1 months notice I would have to work in New Job. They want to know by tomorrow. Next week is earliest I will hear about job I am really after. I can't not take the job just in case but If I tell them they may not be happy. What to do?

Contact second company NOW. Advise them of the situation. They should be able to give you an indication if they REALLY want you.

In that case, you have a choice.

    1. have a job on Friday
    2. MAYBE have no job Monday

I've been in similar situations and it's not fun.

I'll leave you with this parting advice. If company 2 REALLY wanted you, they would know by now and wouldn't let you slip by to another employer.

I think you already know what you should do.

I will roll with it & do what is best for me. They may say 1 month notice not needed or I may miss 2nd job. Thanks all :)

Take the first job, If the second one comes up hand in your notice, Contract not worth the paper it is printed on, Use a tactical delay, If you are starting on friday and expect to hear about the other on friday, delay signing the contract saying you want to read it and digest the contents, ( during your lunch Break) if you hav not heard anything by lunch ask for terms and conditions, Job description employees hand book, seek clarification of some issues on the contract. But not to put a damper on it, from experience I would say that they already have offered the position to someone else. but good look anyway (Hope I'm wrong)

I was talking to another person who was interviewed for this company I want to work for. He said if you are ask to have a medical you will be offered a job. I did a medical. Should I say no to this job with less pay?

Take the job you have been offered, I have been out of work for 3 years and I have lost count of the amount of times I thought I got the job, dont count your eggs before they hatch. I have learned not to count the eggs before they are even laid. ou can always quit if the second job offer comes in,
