Grant Renewal

Hi All,

Im going into my final year in my course and have received a grant for the last 2 years.

Going into my 2nd year I had to reapply for the grant, However when i rang the county council this year asking for a renewal form the lady on the phone said I didnt need to reapply as I had passed my exams. I did not tell her i had passed she knew that herself.

Has anyone else got this response? I just find it hard to believe i dont have to reapply again and im a bit worried whether I should go into the county council and reapply like I did for my 2nd year.

no you dont have to reapply! i called them the last day and they said that because i recieved it last year it would automatically go on for the next year

Sad Professor

You are lucky. My local authority forces me to fill out the full application form every year. How much we earned, P60s, P21s, what I eat for breakfast, everything as if I were applying for the first time. It's very annoying.
