Any other first years on here doing the HEAR Orientation next week?

The package didn't mention it, but I presume we have to bring our own bedclothes for the four-day stay in Castlewhite?

If you can't make the orientation week for personal reasons are the access offices very strict? Is there any chance of holding on to your place if you accept it through the CAO but cannot make the orientation week? Thanks.

I think I read somewhere that keeping a place in UCC+ programme without attending the Orientation week is only allowed in extremely exceptional cases. I'd say send them an e-mail just to be sure.

I just reread the letter that came with the HEAR package, and it said that placement in the programme is entirely dependant on attendance of the orientation week.

I saw that on the package as well, but im sure they will make an exception for people who genuinely cannot make it, they have to say what they did in the package so people wont be missing it because they simply dont want to go.
