Ex-girlfriend but still mates - Question

    I'm really good mates with a girl I used to go out with. We broke up about a year ago, but stayed good mates, and shes now going out with a lad I don't really know at all.

    I'm wondering would it be stupid of me to ask her to my debs in 3 weeks as a friend? Obviously insisting the 'friends' part, because I don't actually want to ruin our friendship nor her other relationship....


    Just need a bit of advice... :o

    It's not appropriate to ask her.

    Avoid any embarassment on your part or on her part from having to turn you down. I'd leave it tbh.

    She's in a relationship.

    You can't be going on dates as 'friends'. It's a paradox.
