This month Jamie Lewis Hadley looks at the effect British wrestling may have had on the WWE's new change in direction, how the infamous Patrick Lennon video has been shockingly accurate one year after its controversial release and the rumours on a link between Alex Shane and the WWE.

Every day, millions of people make millions of predictions based on angles and stories they'd like to see transpire. It's inevitable that evenetually someone would get one right....

I never complain when someone has an opioin piece in a magazine because even if I disagree with it someone must enjoy it, plus they are supposed to start debates.

When Alex Shane wrote for FSM though I stopped buying it for awhile. I HATED his pieces and wondered why someone would agree to give 4 pages a month over to him talk about how HHH uses nazi imagery to influence our subconscious and his ****ing stupid as hell ideas about the illuminati and his holier than thou image. It was the single stupidest thing I had ever read.

He is a fine wrestler, not great, but he hypes himself up so much and comes out with crap like this that it ruins him for me. His "ground breaking" shoot video was a part of my life I'll never get back.

    TL;DR: I hate Alex Shane.

All I took from that video was how **** Martin Stone was. Like the blandest wrestler ever.

Hum, three people coment on in, is that not video watching?

Hear is my full view on the video: It's Alex Shane being Alex Shane; Trying to promote how great of a mind he is when in fact he is an over-rated paranoid twat who tried too hard to be remembered as the smartest man in British wrestling.

These ideas that he is claiming the WWE "stole" are nothing new. They have all been done before. If you look at anything hard enough you can link anything together.

I'd like a reason to be bothered watching it.

    What is in the video?

I was the opposite. When I first got into FSM, I adored his articles on the basics of pro-wrestling; the psychology of working matches and crowds and all that. I realised he wasn't the be all and end all cause, hey, if he was as great as he thinks, he'd have been in WWE. But the basics were fascinating to me, and I adore articles about crowd psychology.

Thats why I was even interested in the odd paranoia-feul articles he did. The odd one, interspersed and related back to subjects on wrestling, were interesting. But then he seemed to go off the deep end somewhat and every article was conspiracy stuff with little to do with wrestling. Shame that :/

I watched it before I made the first comment. It's a crock of **** and nothing new from Shane. He always pulls this kind of bs. "Ooooh look FWA did an invasion storyline and I did a preacher character last year, therefore the WWE is stealing our ideas/ the WWE is trying out new ideas on us."

If he honestly belives that then Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are the wrestling version of Nostradamus. It's just another way for them to try promote FWA and try say how cutting edge they are. Which is a shame because FWA has put on great shows but they have to be assosiated with this crap.

not really worth the 20 odd minutes i just gave that video.

A gimmick like punks without the talent/charisma to back it up. I was cringing throughout alot of this, especially at the sit down interview in front of the green screen. Jesus christ.
