hi, i am having problems getting my USB recognized on one of my guest virtual os's..any ideas how to fix this?

Did you install the extension pack?

Try installing that first: 4.0.12 Extension Pack: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.0.12/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.0.12-72916.vbox-extpack

If that doesn't work, try installing this test build: http://www.virtualbox.org/download/testcase/VirtualBox-2011-08-18-21-25-24-win-4.1-rel-4.1.3-r73584-MultiArch.exe

This solved the USB issue for me.
