The snooker roadshow this week moves on to Germany for PTC 4. The event takes place 25th - 28th but does however have a more meaningful title 'The Paul Hunter Classic'.
Named after the late Paul Hunter who passed away in 2006 it's a popular event with all the players not just because it carriers ranking points but because it's an event named after a player who was liked by everyone on the circuit and is still very badly missed.
I'm sure this week no matter who the winner is the main talking point will be Paul Hunter, a young player with a great talent and three time Masters champion and in my opinion a future work champion sadly taken from us in 2006.

    Yep, its on eurosport.

Agree with Zach there re Paul Hunter. A fantastic talent cut off in its prime. And humble to boot. I remember when we ran a pro-am in Killarney, Paul came to play in it. He was very approachable for the fans, and he went off to town with a few locals for a few beers when he was knocked out. (there were 60+ pros came to play in that pro-am, but Paul decided to socialise with the locals rather than his fellow pros).

Great memories of him, and such a sad loss of life at an early age. Im delighted they have named a tournament after him.

Thursday is the amatuer play-off day to generate enough amatuers that will join the pros in the 128 runner field.
The main event kicks off in the morning and some of it is live on Eurosport TV. I think its from 12 noon until 3pm (maybe thats a 12.30pm start) and more at 9pm tomorrow night.
They play half the field down to 8 players on Friday, the other half of the field down to 8 on Saturday, and then on Sunday they have the last 16 round, the quarter finals, the semi finals and the final. All matches are best of 7 frames.
