Did the Module 2 course, which was only 2 weeks, and then continued to use their open door policy for the year, to build my portfolio, and to be honest, i found it fine getting work with it, like doing weddings and occasion makeup.

i wasnt really into theatrical or special effects/body painting so i didnt see any point in doing a longer course.

A lot of make up counters will not hire you without an itec now

Hmmm, i've heard good and bad things about both tbh but if i'd to pick one it'd be makeupfablicious cos their cert is better recognoised

i would have to go with la make up academy definitely! there are the best known within the industry and you get your mac pro card which is essential! but the thread above this about itec is correct you kinda do need itec as this is the diploma of make up! look into doing an itec course first then the la make up or else la make up do a one year course with itec, this would be the ultimate course if you could afford it!

    Hey girls,
ITEC accreditation is the professional requirement in the makeup industry. The ITEC level 3 cert in beauty and makeup will provide you with the full package. I'm a guidance counsellor and have been looking into this for a friends niece. Makeupfablicious offers ITEC accreditation. That's value for money.

Due to the company name I can't take makeupfablicious seriously at all.
