Laois expressions?

    Sorry all for butting into your forum but lots of people in the telly forum are confused about what the Laois Rose meant when she said something about 'doing the daddy'.
    Im not taking the pee but I really am interested in what it means as I presume its a local expression.
    One of the posters on that thread is from Laois but he/she doesnt know it.
    Again I stress Im not trying to be smart, just intrigued. Quite willing to explain Galway slang if anybody wants to know any.

    Wouldnt be a Laois saying but I think it means going overboard with what ever your doing!
