Saorview for 12 volt tv

Evening all.

I use an Avtec W163 12 volt tv and satellite receiver for my camper. I,m not techy and too old to learn. Is there a name for a "tuner" or whatever to give me saorview, and i can ask manufacturer to install.

The "Bush DVB680" is a Freeview HD Box. You will get one on ebay for about €40. This is what you are looking for. It has a 12v adaptor for a motor home/camper and will work for Saorview/Freeview HD/Europe.

It takes an aerial rather than the satellite dish.

A number of the Set top boxes are as mentioned above 12volt DC,(Tesco Tecknica for example)This would allow you to run it directly from a 12v car battery,with the correct lead of course.The box is 11 watts,which means it draws less than one amp,a lot less than the TV I would guess.
