    Hi Guys,
I'm looking for an old MTB like the one in the pic.
I had this bike from new in 1989 and I basically ruined the frame but everything else is perfect so all I really need is the frame.
It will be used as my commuter as I don't have the cash to even buy a s/h bike.
    The one I have has a 22" frame but I might get away with a 21" or possibly a 20" ( I currently use a 19" Rockhopper)

    What have ye got?

If your looking for that specific frame you'll be waiting a long time. you can still use the parts on something similar

    Yeah I know.
Not particularly looking for that frame, just something similar.
I'm concious though that all the modern stuff wont suit(i.e disc brakes,31mm headset etc).
I've tried 2 lbs but no joy.

Ok Ill check measurements on mine, got 3 steel and 1 allu, all with original forks,
    'reynolds 531 all terain' x2
1st gen Raleigh mtb (unusual 21.2mm quill I think)
    basic light allu frame,

all take 1" threaded headsets, 68mm bsa bottom brackets, 26" wheels.

I was planning to restore them and convert to fixed gear/single speed. 1 might become my snow bike but if 1 suits you I can let it go
