Loosing sound on sky box at startup

I have a Sky Box which is giving problems on startup. For some time now, I have had to do a system reset maybe once or twice a week because it is loosing programme listings. In order to populate the EPG again, I have to do a system setup. Now I have another problem. When I startup, I have no sound from anything up to a minute on the channel selected. If I'm patient and wait, it eventually kicks in. However, if I select another channel, I have sound right away.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
