    Righto.

    I've got a binatone 950.
It takes a 2.5mm single pin.

I got a G Element EX114 Tactical PTT Military Standard Plug Version with a motorola 1 pin connection.

sadly that pin is slightly too long and hence doesn't work.

Is there a adaptor I can get that will make it work or can I change the pin *if so how?*
Or would I be better off getting another connection type and getting a adaptor out of Maplin? And if so what would be the best recomended connection.

If your electrically handy, you could just rewire the pin - snip the wire a little before the pin, and then just grab an old pair of headphones and pillage the pin from that. Solder it together, and a bit of heat shrink and you're sorted.

Was thinking along those lines but didn't know enough about the connections to know if I can do it as simply as that without having to get something extra to avoid functionality loss.
