Got my course in NUIG...accommodation..??

    where would be good places to look for accommodation ??
    People have told me to stay away from Corrib Village...where would be good?

    also is it far from GMIT as my friend got his course there../?

    Whoever told you to stay away from Corrib must be the most boring c*** ever. Too late to apply there anyway though.

    GMIT and NUIG aren't very near eachother at all, if you really had to share a place then somewhere in town like Forster Court would be the only realistic option, unless you have a car in which case you could live out by GMIT since it's nearly half the price.

    Great area.. It's right beside Gort na Coiribe and Cuirt na Coiribe.
    Slightly closer to college then Gort and Cuirt and also have lots of students staying in them. Student area and usually cheaper then any student accommodation.

    If you're happy with the house I'd say go for it!

    Every 1st year should stay in Corrib Village, it's the best craic like
