Contact the admissions office, they'll be able to help you better than anyone on here

Did you apply through the CAO or to Trinity directly?

Lawliet is correct, they might be busy around this time. If so perhaps try international admissions.

    Office open hours:
Monday to Friday: 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
    Tel: + 353 1 896 4444
    Fax: + 353 1 872 2853
    Email: admissions@tcd.ie

    International Office
International Office, East Theatre, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland.

    Fax: + 353 1 677 1698

If you applied through the CAO you might have to contact them:
Office contact hours: 09:30 to 13:00, and 14:00 to 17:15, Monday to Friday.

They told me that in the italian diploma 95 (my result) on the scale of 100 is equivalent to' 465 points in the leaving cert and it wasn't enough to' enter the course I chose. It seems strange because I got one of the maximum results here.

    Wouldn't the maximum on a scale of 100 be 100, not 95?

European Studies is 530 points, right?

That's in the top ~6% of Irish Leaving Cert. results, going on last years' statistics, which is very high.

Hard luck on not getting the course, but well done on your excellent exam results anyway. Hope you find something else you're interested in.

Yes the maximum is 100 but nearly nobody gets it, only students with special honors and stuff. So 95 is pretty good....
