I was wondering how long learners permits last for?

    I'm getting my licence(learners permit) back from court soon.

    I was wondering how long learners permits last for?

    And in my situation, will I have to get a new one? Will it be ok until its expiration date?

    2 Years and it will be fine to use again.

    To claim a third Learner Permit you'll have to have proof of attempting a Driving Test though

    Oh ok, thanks. I've had my licence for about 24 months(uncluding 18 months of driving ban). What is the procedure in making it valid again? This would be my 1st time validating it.

    If your Learner Permit is still in date, Application form D800 which you'll find in a Garda Station, if it's out of date you'll need Application form D201, again from a Garda Station
